Dear SRJC Community,
I am writing to provide an update on the implementation of the Banner Student Information System. As we assess the system in the final stages of our implementation plan, it has become clear that it is not yet ready for a successful launch. To ensure a smooth rollout, additional time is needed for thorough testing, training, and issue resolution. As a result, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to delay the launch until Spring 2026.
The transition to the Banner Student Information System is a multi-year, institution-wide effort with significant implications for how we operate and serve students. Ensuring the system is fully functional and well-supported at launch remains our top priority. We are working closely with all partners to address the impact of this change and adjust the implementation timeline accordingly.
I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the implementation team, including the project leads and managers, for their dedication and hard work. We recognize the effort that has gone into this project and the work still ahead. A more detailed update will be provided in early March.
