We wanted to share a couple of important Banner milestones happening this week. 

Bear Cub Hub Live for Employees 

Access to Bear Cub Hub begins today, Monday, March 23. This early access is intended to give employees time to become familiar with the platform ahead of the student launch on April 1.  

You can access the Bear Cub Hub from the santarosa.edu homepage under the LOGIN menu:  

As you explore Bear Cub Hub, please note that some cards may not yet be fully functional. Some are still being finalized, and others will not be available until specific processes open. For example, the Registration card will only be available to students once registration opens. As with any new system launch, you may notice updates and refinements over the coming weeks.  

Canvas 

There is no change to Canvas login for employees. Students will use their new Student ID to log into Canvas beginning April 1.  

Student ID Numbers  

New Student ID (SID) numbers will begin rolling out starting today, Monday, March 23 and may take a few days to be received. These are being delivered to both their personal email and their @bearcubs email account from auto-reply-studentinfo@santarosa.edu. The new SID number is required for students to access Bear Cub Hub and other SRJC systems, including Canvas. Legacy SID numbers will be retired and no longer used.  

Resources  

To support this transition, a range of resources are available at sis.santarosa.edu, including communications to students, guides for faculty, students, and general user guides. Additional resources and support materials will continue to be added in the coming days. 

If you have questions about using the system, please submit them through sis.santarosa.edu. Students should be directed to the Welcome and Connect Centers at Santa Rosa, Petaluma, or Roseland campuses for assistance with SIDs, Canvas logins, or other questions.
