Bear Cub Hub Launching April 1 – Important Updates for Students

Dear SRJC Students,  

On April 1, SRJC will launch Bear Cub Hub, our new student portal that will bring registration, financial aid, student payments and other services together in one place. As we get closer to launch, here are a few important updates to help you prepare.  

 

New Student ID Numbers

In the coming days, you will receive a new student ID number sent to both your personal email and your @bearcubs email account.  

  • You will use this new student ID number to log into Bear Cub Hub, Canvas, and other single-sign-on (SSO) applications starting April 1, 2026.  
  • Your password/PIN remains the same.  
    • Your current portal PIN code/password will carry over to the new system, and you do not need to change it.
    • If you do not know or remember your PIN code/password, visit the Login Help Page, select “Student SRJC Pin Code,” and follow the prompts.
  • You do not need to get a new student ID card as part of this transition.  

 

Payment Blackout Period

To complete the transition to the new student system, payment services will be unavailable from March 27 through March 31. During this time, payments cannot be made in the current system or the new system. The Accounting Office will be closed and will not be able to accept payments in person or by phone. Please plan to make any necessary payments before March 27 or wait until the new system becomes available.  

 

Check your @bearcubs Email  

During the transition, updates are being sent to both your personal email and your @bearcubs email. Soon, official SRJC communications will only be sent to your @bearcubs email. Begin checking your @bearcubs email regularly.

Guides and Tutorials: 
Before launch, step-by-step guides and tutorials will be posted to the sis.santarosa.edu website to help you learn how to navigate the Bear Cub Hub.  

 

What will you be able to do in Bear Cub Hub?  

Registration: Beginning with Summer 2026 registration, you will register for classes in Bear Cub Hub. In the new portal, you will be able to:

  • Search for classes
  • Add or drop courses  
  • View your class schedule
  • View your education plan

 

Financial Aid: Financial aid and scholarship tasks will also move into Bear Cub Hub. Inside the portal, you will be able to:  

  • Check your financial aid status
  • View required documents
  • See next steps or action items from SRJC.  

 

Student Payments: Student payments will transition to a new payment system, TouchNet, accessible through Bear Cub Hub. TouchNet provides a modern and flexible payment experience.

The Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and Roseland campuses are available to help with registration, login issues, financial aid questions, and navigation of Bear Cub Hub.
